It is at this point that the "Louisa Villea" moves into Symbolism and touches Surrealism.
Louisa, being the fictional representative of the citizenry of Louisville (or any individual having an affinity for Louisville) is symbolically blessed with good fortune.  In the original oil painting, the cherub drops 18kt gold leaf flakes from his left hand while clutching the state flower of Kentucky, the goldenrod, in his right.
